New Filly @ the Tongue River Farm

Born June 2007

Her name is Starlight Starbright. She is registered and will be for sale after she is weaned for $3000. Or with her dam now for $6000. She is very friendly and can be touched all over. She loves to be petted. Her sire is Sori fra Bulandi and her dam is Kitla fra Icelandic Horse Farm. She will shed out some shade of black. She was born a purplish grey. Pictured in October in a foal coat.

Below see one of Kitla's other foals along with photos of Kitla.

Kitla fra Icelandic Horse Farm was born in 1993. She has mostly been a brood mare and farm pet for us. She is very green broke. She has no bad habits, is very gentle to be around. She is about 14.2 ans very stocky and able to carry a large man easily. She has a nice tolt and a smooth rocking chair canter. She is easily caught, easy to load in a trailer and feet easily trimmed. I have not had the time to ride her and for that reason she is for sale. She has been the highlight and star of this farm. She is a very easy keeper and has stayed very fat on only grass and clover, staying fat even when nursing a foal. She is a great mother, heavy milker, easy foaling mare. She catches easily to the stud. She has had 5 foals, of which 4 have been fillies. She carries a recessive gene for color and has had buckskin and black foals when bred to these colored stallions. She has a negative coggins and is up to date with all of her vaccinations.
