Description: Lækur is white with fine horns. The head is beatyful og hornshape great. Neck is short and broad, conformation great. Back is muscled and strong, loins muscled and round. Thigh muscling is excellent. Feets are straight and well placed. Lækur is vigorous and dashing sheep.

Wool EE: "Tan on neck and feets. Lot of tan fibers backward in the fleece but firly white forward. Rather shortwoolled with fine and soft thog. No black fibers were found."

Results: Lækur was progeny tested at Lækjarhús Farm in 1998 with following result: Eye muscle thickness 24,6 mm (H), back fat 2,6 mm, thighs 16,9 points, wool 7,5 points, meat grading 10,55 points (which is tremendous), fat grading 6,25 points, weight 38,6 kg and dressing weight 16,02 kg.
