| Production results: Flekkur's lambs were analyzed when he was a
yearling and then he got 108 for meat quality, Leg points were 3.9, and rib fat 6.9 mm. He
was far superior of the five rams who's lambs were analyzed then. In 1994 24 ewes older
than yearlings had lambs by Flekkur, 20 had twins and 4 had triplets. The triplet mothers
all raised their lambs without assistance. For 83 production years of daughters Flekkur gets 118 points and the prolificacy is +20, grade for 249 lambs is 101 so Flekkur looks good as an improvement breeding ram. |
